OUR HISTORY

The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts was founded in 1955 by the City of College Park. In 2017, Cultural Arts was added to advance the arts in College Park.

Three recreation facilities offer a variety of recreational and community-centered activities: Wayman and Bessie Brady, Hugh C. Conley, and Tracey Wyatt Recreation Complex. Youth and adults alike enjoy programming and sports offerings at the centers.

OUR MISSION

The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts is committed to building a variety of innovative recreational and cultural arts initiatives to its rich history of athletics and vibrant green spaces, where all are invited and welcomed to thrive.
