    The Department of Recreation & Cultural Arts was founded in 1955 by the City of College Park. In 2017, Cultural Arts was added to advance the arts in College Park.

     Three recreation facilities offer a variety of recreational and community centered activities: Wayman and Bessie Brady, Hugh C. Conley and Tracey Wyatt Recreation Complex. Youth and adults alike enjoy programming and sports offerings at the centers.



     The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts is committed to building strong, vibrant communities and improving the quality of life of its citizens through a variety of recreational and cultural arts initiatives.
     The Department promotes the rich history of its athletics and the heritage of its parks and recreational facilities in order to advance a vibrant and inclusive space for the community to thrive.
     Innovative programming, inclusiveness, recreation equality and lush green space are all hallmarks of the Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts!
